Scholarships at Lockers Park are designed to identify and support boys with exceptional potential across various disciplines, including academics, sports, music, and the arts. Scholarships ensure that boys with exceptional abilities, regardless of their background, can access a first-class education that sets them on the path to success. By welcoming boys with diverse talents, we enrich our community, fostering an environment where everyone is inspired to strive for their personal best.
Our scholarships are available for boys from Years 3 to 8. Recipients benefit from access to outstanding facilities, expert mentoring, and a tailored curriculum that supports their development. Joining Lockers Park can also put talented boys on the path to prestigious senior schools, with additional tutoring and mentoring to support further scholarship applications.

Our annual Scholarship Day is a chance for prospective families to learn more about the opportunities available at Lockers Park. Boys have the chance to showcase their talents in a supportive and welcoming environment, while parents meet our dedicated staff and discover what makes our school so special.

Bursaries
Our Governors are committed to broadening access to Lockers Park by offering to eligible parents of boys in Years 3 to 8 means-tested financial support with the payment of school fees.
We welcome applications from pupils whose abilities indicate they would make the most of a place at Lockers Park, but whose means and circumstances would otherwise prevent them from applying. While we wish we could offer a bursary to every family who enquires, our resources are limited. Lockers Park bursaries are funded by the tuition fees paid by our fee-paying families, and as we are a smaller school than most, bursaries are especially limited. In particular, we want to be able to support our bursary students with a successful bursary application to an independent senior school after they leave Lockers Park.
Typically bursaries represent a 10% to 20% discount on school fees, and in exceptional circumstances, to up to 100%, depending on financial, compassionate or other pertinent circumstances of applicants.
Applications are thoroughly researched by an external party and can include a visit to the applicant’s home to ensure that information has been accurately represented.
Draper Bursary
As part of our 150th Anniversary celebrations, we have set up the Draper Bursary in honour of our first Headmaster, Montague Draper. This sits alongside our original bursary initiative and allows us to help more applicants.
The Draper Bursary provides assistance for boys joining Lockers Park at any age, supporting talented and deserving boys who have the most to gain from Lockers Park, and whose families could not otherwise consider a private prep school education. Find out more about the Draper Bursary here.
