With six teams playing this afternoon the rugby season certainly started off with a bang. Conditions were ideal – the ground was nice and soft, the sun was shining and the cold made everyone run that little bit faster. At Prep school level pace makes a real difference, especially if the opposition fail to tackle. Just one or two players on each team made the difference between winning and losing. The real winner this afternoon though was rugby. Some excellent skills were on show, all players showed great determination and the players came off smiling.
