Our Year 7’s are looking at classification and today they had an interesting lesson. When we really look we’ve got an amazing range of animals on hand – some of them from the grounds, some of them school pets and some of them stuffed exhibits from past times. The boys had to really look at the circus of animals and had to note down the similarities and differences, trying to come up with their own classifications. Hands on Science has a real impact on learning – I bet that this is a lesson they will remember for a long time!
