Each year the FoLP (Friends of Lockers Park) organise a Summer Ball. This year the theme was “Mardi Gras”. A huge amount of work by the FoLP Committee, chaired by Steve Simpson, goes into this and there are always anxious looks at the weather forecasts in the preceding days. The marquee looked fantastic, decorated in a true Mardi Gras style and all the guests had a wonderful night. The band were fantastic, playing before and after the food was served and everyone got into the Mardi Gras spirit. Many thanks to all of those who helped, especially the FoLP Committee, for making this event possible.
