The leavers program is giving the boys varied and new challenges and today they had an opportunity to work with the school’s top chef, Fay. In what is best described as a “Bake Off” challenge the boys had 1 hour to make canapes, afternoon tea and decorate a cake fit for their teachers. It was amazing to see the different groups approach the task in so many ways but all would have benefitted from reading the instructions more carefully. The food was creative and the boys were able to show their culinary knowledge. It was good to see new skills being used and food being enjoyed. It was appreciated hugely by the staff.
