We’ve been watching the weather forecasts all week with trepidation, as this weekend everything relies on good weather. Someone must have been looking down on us as it turned out to be a really nice day. Apart from the high jump, that had to be inside, everything else ran very smoothly. The Athletic Finals are where our very best athletes compete against each other, having got through the heats. There were some outstanding performances with some incredible jumps – high/long/triple. There were fast times in the running events and there were some huge throws. Boys really like competing against each other and in this event they REALLY compete! Many thanks to all the staff for officiating and organising everything, to the parents for supporting and to the boys for competing so well.
