As part of their topic on castles, B5S went to Berkhamsted to look at the motte-and bailey-Castle. Mr Moubray took the boys into the bailey where they pretended to be Saxons and had to attack the motte. The boys had a great time splitting into groups to explore the castle and were amazed at how hard it is to attack when dressed in armour. B5P will be visiting next week.
