After a very frustrating start to the rugby season we eventually played our first matches of the season against Beechwood Park. The matches I saw all contained some fine rugby with tackles galore and some superb running. They were also high scoring, with the U11B drawing a very exciting game, where a try was scored in the last seconds, 45-45. I always find it interesting to see how players have developed – you can really see that our input from some very experienced rugby coaches is really paying off at all levels. I imagine that there will be some very tired but happy boys going to bed tonight with the Lockers boys probably happier than the Beechwood boys.
