Education in UK is nothing short of pioneering – and each year, the Tatler Schools Guide reveals the institutions that set the gold standard. From idyllic country preps to historic public schools at the heart of our great cities, these are the schools shaping the next generation of leaders, creatives, scientists and change-makers.
Tatler, under the leadership of Education Editor Tori Cadogan, visits every school that enters and hears first-hand from pupils, parents and staff about what makes their institution stand out. Thousands of questionnaire responses are scrutinised, every detail considered, before the final selection is made. Out of the country’s many hundreds of schools, only 250 achieve the coveted distinction of inclusion in the Tatler Schools Guide 2026.
