90 years ago today Martin Luther King was born. Martin Luther King was an inspirational man who led the civil rights movement in the USA and believed that you could protest without violence. His stance changed the USA and the world, but unfortunately he was assassinated for his beliefs. A7I gave us a very informative assembly on what would have been his 90th birthday. It was thought provoking and really made you think about how far things have changed. Very many thanks to A7I and Mr Iqbal for marking Martin Luther King’s birthday in such an informative way.
