Today was the day many pupils at Lockers Park have been waiting for with great anticipation – the start of the cricket season. There were seven teams playing at three different venues. It was also a typical cricket day, overcast and not that warm, with the spectators wrapped up in blankets on the perimeter. As with all first matches there is work to be done as the rustiness of the winter needs to be oiled away. One down and many more to go.
