Not every boy in school enjoys sport (just most of them!) and for some chess is a perfect alternative. This year it has become very popular with a chess ladder being played in the school and regular matches occurring. Several of our boys have also taken part in regional and national events this year. It was with great pleasure that we welcomed Aldwickbury over for a match – we’d heard on the school grape vine that they were very good. I’m pleased to report that the Lockers chess team came out on top.
