Year 1 had a wonderful time at The Box Moor Trust. They found so many mini beasts both in the pond and in the woods! They were really lucky to find a male and female dragonfly nymph so the children were able to study them and observe the differences in appearance. The experts told the children all about the animals that they discovered including what they eat and how they change as they grow. Their excitement was overwhelming and made up for the sun not being out!
