Our Year 8s are rapidly approaching their last day at Lockers, so we thought we would make their last week memorable. A whole day spent doing Art and Technology. In the Art Room, visiting artist Phil Madley came to demonstrate encaustic art – using wax and irons to create some fantastic images. Over in the Technology Suite the boys used the laser cutter to cut out, from a template, a large crane. They then had to assemble this and get it to move using a series of pipes and syringes. We were all very impressed with the results.
