Year 7 Science

I’m often asked what makes Lockers so special compared to a State School. The list of things I could mention is extensive, but one example is what happened in Year 7 science today. The boys were doing titration. What is that you may ask? “Titration, also known as titrimetry, is a common laboratory method of quantitative chemical analysis that is used to determine the unknown concentration of an identified analyte. Since volume measurements play a key role in titration, it is also known as volumetric analysis.” Wow! Mr Iqbal tells me this is normally done at A level. Our boys were finding out the best ingestion remedies. Currently they are studying acids and alkalies.
